what to expect
It's a SUNDAY DAY party , perfect for beginners, where you'll groove to Latin and Afro-Caribbean beats and have a blast learning new moves!
Latin (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue) and Afro-Caribbean Music (Kizomba, Semba, Kompa, Afrobeats, Zouk) will keep you dancing the entire afternoon!
We start with beginner friendly dance lesson at 4:00pm (NO PARTNER REQUIRED!)
Followed by OPEN dancing till 8pm with DJ UNIKA
COME BE A PARTY!!!

Sip City Charlotte will offer full bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and variety of espresso/coffee!) and unique and cozy dance space with beautiful hardwood floors.

I don't have a partner, can I come?
Come alone or with a friend! Either way, you are GUARANTEED to have a good time and meet friendly community!
I don't know how to dance, can I participate?
Yes, make sure to come by 4:00pm and catch a beginner friendly lesson! It will set you up for success for the entire event and will let you meet people you can dance with later! It is an excellent ice-breaker if you come alone!
Is there a drink minimum?
1 drink per guest minimum purchase required with paid cover (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available!)
Is there a dress code?
No, but dress comfortably as you are sure to sweat as you burn the dance floor with those moves. It is a good idea to bring a fan or a towel with you to keep yourself fresh. Men are encouraged to bring an extra shirt!
