We start with beginner friendly dance lesson at 7:30pm (NO PARTNER REQUIRED!)
Followed by OPEN dancing till 10:30pm with DJ UNIKA
Kizomba is a partner dance from Angola, Africa. Smooth steps and connection with your partner and music are sure to capture your soul!

Music Menu: Kizomba, Semba, Konpa, Caribbean Zouk, UrbanKiz, Afrobeats with a splash of Salsa and Bachata by DJ UNIKA!
DRESS CODE: YES, it is HOT, but let's stay CLASSY! African print inspired clothing is encouraged (BUT OPTIONAL!) to celebrate the culture of Kizomba
It is a good idea to bring a fan or a towel with you to keep yourself fresh. Men are encouraged to bring an extra shirt!
FLOOR AND SHOES: Weather permitting, we dance on the rooftop. Rooftop floor is smooth composite deck board, but there are tiny spaces between the boards. Women are encouraged to wear dance shoes with thicker heels or block heels. Flats are always a good backup option.
For liability purposes, No OUTSIDE DRINKS or WATER CONTAINERS/BOTTLES please.

Come alone or with a friend! Either way, you are GUARANTEED to have a good time and meet friendly community!
I don't know how to dance, can I participate?
Yes, make sure to come by 7:30pm and catch a beginner friendly lesson! It will set you up for success for the entire event and will let you meet people you can dance with later! It is an excellent ice-breaker if you come alone!
Is there a drink minimum?
